With fresh passion and renewed creative vision, Tedashii has adopted a new ethos in 2017—one that reflects his clear commitment to making an impact despite the unpredictability of our cultural climate: Never Fold. Inspired by Luke 9:62 which states, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and turns back is fit for the kingdom of God,” Never Fold is a construct upon which believers everywhere can build their lives. Fans itching for new tunes need not worry either, “Way Up” is the first taste of new music from Tedashii as he gears up to carry the Never Fold campaign well into 2018.
With the release of “Way Up,” Tedashii unveiled a manifesto for Never Fold, providing more insight and content for fans to interact with his renewed vision. Tedashii, who understands pain firsthand, goes on to say “For me, Never Fold is about celebrating life in the midst of adversity. It’s a reminder to not succumb to the pressures of life when in the end, it’s what makes diamonds of us all.”
Tedashii has been separating himself from the pack for the better part of a decade. With a slew of revered studio albums and EP’s to his name—including the masterful Below Paradise which debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 albums chart—the Texas-born and bred rapper has remained a force. Known for his exuberant delivery on the mic and robust stature, Tedashii has graced the stages of the GMA Dove Awards, KLOVE Awards and performed on the top-selling Winter Jam Spectacular Tour. His hit track “Dum Dum” also appeared on the Fox TV Series So You Think You Can Dance.

AHA GAZELLE’S NEWEST SINGLE, “BACK IN MY BAG” IS NOW AVAILABLE AT ALL DSPs

(Reach Records; Atlanta, GA; September 25, 2017) – New Orleans rapper, producer, singer-songwriter, Aha Gazelle, officially releases Back In My Bag. Teased on his SoundCloud earlier this month to hold fans over, the track is now available on all DSPs, including iTunes and Spotify. A straight-up motivational record, “Back In My Bag” is about not losing one’s self. “I almost took the bait and played the part,” Aha said, annotating the lyrics. “I almost forgot who I truly am.” Check out the track here!
Just before the weekend, Aha announced that he will be the direct opening act for Lecrae’s upcoming 24-date tour, All Things Work Together. The two also released “Whatchu Mean,” their newest single together, which premiered on Beats 1 Radio with Ebro on Sep. 20th. It has since generated over 1M collective plays. Click here for more info on All Things WorkTogether Tour and check out “Whatchu Mean” here.
Born William Gazelle Fields Jr., Aha Gazelle has demonstrated through his music, which includes Trilliam, and the sequential Trilliam 2 , that there are many dimensions to rap. Standing 6’6” tall, weighing in at 205 pounds and sporting dreadlocks, Aha is an amalgamation of authenticity, flash, savviness, artistry and Louisiana. Like his icons, Lil’ Wayne and Jay Electronica, his style is tough and confident, but Aha also comes with a strong sense of optimism, an attitude he learned while growing up and playing the drums in his father’s church in New Orleans. Entirely written and produced by himself, his music has been featured on notable Spotify playlists, including “Blessings” and “The Flow.” While attending Grambling State University, he released his first projects, FREE Barabbas and Trilliam, organically garnering over 1M collective streams and landing him a deal with Reach Records. Aha is currently preparing Trilliam 3 , the third and final installment of his mixtape series which will complete the story that has been woven throughout the trilogy. Carrying the message that one can be successful by being their authentic self, without relying on stereotypical imagery to become popular, the project is set to shine a positive light on Southern hip-hop.
