About The Freemans

History, experience, and spiritual wisdom are three attributes that can be used to describe the foundation of the Freeman ministry. Deeply rooted with family, the Freemans experience spans 30+ years. From Darrell’s entrance at age 16 with his family’s group, the Pathways, to Chris’s award-winning teenage years with the Hinsons, the Freemans know the ins and outs of Southern Gospel music.

No doubt, Chris’s unique sound is the reason she was the youngest female artist ever to receive the coveted “Queen of Gospel Music” award two years in a row (’76, ’77) as voted by the readers of Singing News Magazine. In 1980, the lives of Darrell and Chris Freeman became one when they married on August 2nd. After singing with the Pathways for three years Darrell and Chris headed for Nashville and began the Freemans. Joe Freeman, Darrell’s cousin, soon joined. them as the third part harmony, as well as their keyboard player. With this sound, they have garnered tremendous growth and success.

In 1997, Darrell and Chris’s daughter, Misty, began playing acoustic guitar with the group on stage. Then in 1998, she began singing with them when they recorded Standing Out. Also on stage is Caylon Freeman, Darrell and Chris’s youngest child. He decided to join his family on the road full-time in 2002. He is now playing the drums and singing some with the group.

New Single “Keep It In The Family”

Aha Gazelle Drops Trilliam 2

New Mixtape Available at DSPs Today (June 9)

Rapper Shares Celebratory New Single “Keep It In The Family

(Reach Records; Atlanta, GA; June 9, 2017) – Today rapper, producer and singer-songwriter, Aha Gazelle, releases his debut Reach Records’ project entitled Trilliam 2. Self-written and self-produced entirely by Aha Gazelle, the 8-track mixtape is now available for purchase and streaming across all DSPs here: http://smarturl.it/trilliam2.

Trilliam 2, the second of a three-part mixtape series which has a story woven throughout the three projects, showcases Aha’s lyrical heft and hard-hitting production. Permeating throughout the mixtape is a message of optimism empowering listeners, quite simply, to be themselves. “It’s important for the kids coming up to see they can be successful without resorting to negativity,” Aha Gazelle explains. “I want you to walk away like, ‘Man. I feel empowered, I turned on this song and now I’m going to go tackle life ‘cause I know I can do it.’”

As a follow up to the lead single, “Momma House,” which immediately spiraled into Spotify’s US Viral Top 50 chart upon release, Aha Gazelle recently shared the sonically stark yet celebratory new single “Keep It In The Family.” An ode to his immediate and extended family, on the track, he raps about the importance of keeping a tight circle around him at all times.

Raised in New Orleans, one of America’s most vibrant musical cities, Aha Gazelle grew up admiring the wide range of acts native to his Louisiana hometown including PJ Morton, Jay Electronica, Frank Ocean and Lil Wayne, among others. The city’s diversity significantly shaped him into the artist he is today — an amalgamation of authenticity, artistry, savviness and flash, Aha describes his distinctive sound as being “manicured, but but not manufactured.” Once Free Barabbas (2015) and Trilliam (2016) arrived while attending school at the historical Grambling State University, Aha’s buzz started to grow organically garnering more than 1M collective streams and landing him a recording contract with Reach Records.

Magic & Bird

New Mixtape Set For Release August 4, Available For Pre-Order Today

Duo Shares New Song “DUNK CONTEST” Produced By BEAM

Announces Nationwide Friends and Family Tour Kicking Off This Fall

(Reach Records; Atlanta, GA; July 3, 2017) – Reach Records lyrical powerhouse and founder of Miner League, Andy Mineo, announces a collaboration with Wordsplayed, Miner League’s promising up-and-coming rapper, for the release of their 90s-inspired mixtape, Magic & Bird. Available for pre-order today, July 3, Magic & Bird will officially release via a partnership with Reach Records on August 4.

Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed, also now known by their moniker Magic & Bird, dropped without warning a buzzworthy new record and video for “KIDZ” on June 14, which left curious fans wondering if there was more to come from this dynamic duo this summer. Today, Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed reveal details for their anticipated new project, and share the latest single “DUNK CONTEST,” a lively track produced by BEAM (2 Chainz, Meek Mill) chock full of witty sports references. The song is available as an instant grat download with the mixtape’spre-order, along with “KIDZ” and the bonus track “LAY UP.”

Listen/Share “DUNK CONTEST”: http://bit.ly/DUNKCNSTsc

Most will agree there’s nothing like a good rivalry, especially in hip-hop and sports, and the playful and nostalgic approach of Magic & Bird becomes evident throughout the 13-track mixtape, complete with hilarious interludes. What is clear from the jump is the chemistry between Mineo and Wordsplayed,  as they trade bars and toss one another alley-oops on wax. To let Wordsplayed tell it: “The whole project is about swag, and about bringing people that NBA Jam vibe.”  While the lightheartedness is certainly front and center, Mineo and Wordplayed are mindful to give heads something of substance to chew on too, “It’s like sports,”Mineo explains. “We wanted to keep things fun and competitive but not without insightful moments.”

Along with BEAM, Magic & Bird boasts production from Mineo’s labelmate GAWVI (Lecrae, Trip Lee, KB ) and !llmind (J.Cole, Drake, 50 Cent), who also produced Andy Mineo’s previous LP Uncomfortable, which became the No. 1 Independent record in the country and delivered a No. 3 and No.10 position on Billboard’s Hip Hop and Top 200 album charts, respectively.

This fall, in support of Magic & Bird, Wordsplayed will join Andy Mineo on the Miner League presents Friends and Family Tour, alongside fellow rappers Social Club Misfits. The 29-city nationwide tour kicks off on September 21 in Nashville, TN and will stop in major cities including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and more. The new BMW i3 (94 Ah) Wins 2017 World Urban Car Award.

Woodcliff Lake, N.J. April 12, 2017… The new BMW i3 (94 Ah), today received the inaugural winner of the 2017 World Urban Car award at the New York International Auto Show.

“We are delighted and honored that the BMW i3 has been recognized as the World Urban Car of the Year,” said Ludwig Willisch, Head of BMW Group Region Americas. “This award highlights BMW Group’s commitment to sustainable mobility through BMW’s first all-electric vehicle made primarily of carbon fiber. The design brief for the BMW i3 was to create a Mega City Vehicle for the cities of the future. Today, the new 2017 BMW i3 (94 Ah) provides more range paired with a high-level of dynamic performance, making it the perfect urban vehicle for people around the world.”

Launched in 2014, the born electric BMW i3 represents a new era of electro mobility offering a visionary design, a ground-breaking vehicle architecture, dynamic performance and innovative connectivity. No other car represents such a holistic approach to sustainability throughout the value chain.

World Car vice-chairman, Mike Rutherford, commented, “It’s an award whose time has come. Everyday cars in many – perhaps most – parts of the world will have to become smaller if road and parking space is to be found for them in increasingly packed towns and cities whose populations are swelling annually. This year’s winner in our inaugural World Urban Car category proves that these small vehicles don’t have to be cheap, undesirable and unpleasant to drive. Quite the opposite. It is among the best value-for-money products on the market”.

The new 2017 BMW i3 (94 Ah) offers 50% increased battery capacity (33 kWh) thanks to the higher energy density of the lithium ion cells. The BMW i team worked to ensure that the battery dimensions remain unchanged while still offering a significant range increase. The driving performance figures of the 170 hp AC synchronous electric motor remain virtually unchanged. The motor propels the BMW i3 from 0 to 60 mph in just over 7 seconds making the BMW i3 the sportiest and most efficient electric vehicle in the premium segment. With the introduction of the BMW i3 (94 Ah), BMW i now also offers a new BMW Home Charger Connect, a residential charging station designed for comfortable and fast home charging featuring additional connected functions.
